Track every follow-up you promised, and draft the overdue ones
Each evening the Bot pulls the commitments you made in sent email, Slack and meeting notes into one living list, flags what is overdue, and drafts the follow-ups for you to approve.
What the Bot is set up to do
- Connect your sent mail, Slack and meeting notes. The Bot needs to see what you said, not only what you received.
- Keep the list on one Notion page or Google Doc that the Bot updates in place.
- Add a daily routine for 5:30 p.m. Every outgoing message stays on a draft card.
Prompt
Every weekday at 5:30pm, look through what I sent today: email, Slack messages and my meeting notes.
Find every commitment I made, like "I'll send", "let me check", "we'll get back to you by" or "I'll introduce you".
Add each one to [Notion page or Google Doc] with: who it's for, what I promised, the due date (stated or implied), and a link to where I said it.
Mark anything past due. For each overdue item, draft the follow-up in my voice and leave it for my approval.
When you see I've done something, remove it from the list and tell me what you removed.
Business fit
Who this helps, and how:
- AgenciesConsultants stop client promises from slipping between calls.
- Solo foundersOwners who say "I'll get back to you" all day get a list that does the remembering.
- Local & serviceQuotes and callbacks promised on site visits get written down and chased.
- StartupsFounders keep investor and customer follow-ups from going stale.
How to adapt it
If you take notes on paper, send photos of them in the chat at the end of the day.
Add "Include promises other people made to me" to track what you are waiting on.
On a Team Bot, each teammate gets their own list; Team Bots keep private notes for each person.
