A Kia Sales Manager Gets 2–3 Hours a Day Back With Claude and Browser Automation
A new-car sales manager at a Kia store selling 200+ cars a month has Claude and browser automation build a one-page morning report from five systems, clear about 60% of CRM tasks and send appointment reminders, saving 2–3 hours a day.

Explain it simply
A car-sales manager used to spend his first two hours each day logging into five systems to collect numbers for his morning meeting. Now a script (a small program) logs in and downloads the data for him, and Claude, an AI, turns it into a one-page report. The same setup sends appointment reminders and alerts him when a new customer inquiry hasn't been answered.
What was done
Steven Garcia used to spend his first two hours each morning logging into VinSolutions, vAuto, the desk log and NPS tools to build his meeting numbers. Now a browser script logs in and exports the data, Claude compiles a single-page PDF with 21 metrics, and the results are stored in Supabase for trends.
The same setup sorts CRM tasks into three buckets, texts appointment reminders, pings him on Telegram when an internet lead sits untouched for five minutes, and builds the prep for his daily "save-a-deal" meeting.
How it went
He reports getting back 2 to 3 hours a day for about $20 a month in AI subscriptions, on a spare desktop or a $599 Mac mini. The morning report takes five minutes to read instead of 30 to 45 minutes to build. About 60% of CRM tasks (sold deals, system notices, duplicates) are cleared automatically, and three reminder texts per appointment lifted show rates by 15 to 25 percent.
- Limits: these are one manager's self-reported results. Closing, coaching, customer relationships, strategy and F&I stay human by design, and cancellation replies are flagged for a person rather than handled by AI. The page's FAQ says the task triage clears "90% of noise", which doesn't match the 60% figure in the body.
Prompt
Daily report: log into each system, export yesterday's activity and inventory,
compile one landscape PDF with three columns: MTD performance, daily activity,
inventory flags. "If a number doesn't change what I do today, it's not on the report."
CRM triage, three buckets:
- Auto-clear: sold deals, system notifications, duplicates, confirmations.
- Re-engage: short text to stale leads using their name and vehicle (3 rotating templates).
- Needs attention: pending finance deals, active opportunities under 14 days, wrong-number replies. Send to the manager's phone.
Rule: tasks needing judgment, empathy or negotiation stay human; logging in,
exporting, sorting, formatting and reminding go to the automation.
Adapted from the rules he describes; he doesn't share exact prompts.

Local & serviceStartup founders and e-commerce sellers: compile a daily one-page dashboard from your store, ads and email tools instead of checking each one.
Shopify & ecommerceMechanics and tradespeople: send automatic confirmation and day-before reminders for booked jobs to cut no-shows.
Local & serviceLocal service businesses: get a phone alert when a new web lead hasn't been contacted within five minutes.
